Trends: Third Generation Technology is pending to replace analog
and digital mobile telephony. |
Currents Trends: In March 1998, the Instituto de
Salud Publica (ISP, Public Health Institute) proposed regulations
implementing control of medical devices. The regulation requires each product type to be tested
for quality by a Chilean authorized testing facility and receive a
Certificate of Quality from ISP before marketing begins. |
